New club enters the race to sign Barkley

Chelsea are being linked with a move for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley after Spurs cooled their interest in the England player.
The Toffees' star has been strongly linked with a switch to Spurs this summer but the asking price of £50m and his wage demands, thought to be £150,000-a-week, have seen the deal hit the buffers. |

Barkley now faces the possibility of being left in limbo at Goodison Park if no one comes in for him but the latest reports claim that both Chelsea and Manchester United may decide to make a move.
Whether Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants to meet Everton's current asking price remains to be seen but the 23-year-old is up for grabs and he may try to land him for a knock down deal nearer to the transfer window. |
