Mirallas loan issue after suspension of Greek Superleague
Kevin Mirallas' loan at Olympiakos has been hit after officials confirmed an indefinite suspension of all games in the Greek Superleague.
The decision to halt fixtures comes in the wake of the abandonment of PAOK Salonika's game with AEK Athens on Sunday night.
PAOK's president Ivan Savvidis marched onto the pitch amid chaotic scenes after his side had a last minute goal disallowed for offside.
It is claimed Savvidis tried to confront the referee with images from the incident appearing to show him carrying a gun in a hip holster.
Deputy Sports Minister Giorgos Vasiliadis is reported to have said: "We have decided to interrupt the championship... It won't start again unless there is a clear framework, agreed by all, to move forward with conditions and rules.”
Everton forward Mirallas is on loan at Olympiakos until the end of the season and scored his first goal since leaving Goodison in Sunday's 4-0 win at Platanias.
Olympiakos were scheduled to face Levadiakos on Saturday night but officials have announced a suspension of the league.
