Jack Wilshere on Everton's radar
Jack Wilshere could be on his way to Merseyside this summer as Everton prepare to make him an offer he cannot refuse, according to various reports.
The Arsenal star is out of contract in the summer and talks have stalled on an extension.
Wilshere has been asked to take a 25 per cent pay cut as a result of his injury woes over the years.
But the England star has been fit for the best part of two years and feels the offer is insulting.
The Daily Mail report that Everton are set to benefit from Arsenal's penny pinching by swooping in to sign the playmaker.
Should he make the move to Goodison, Wilshere would link up with former Gunners team-mate Theo Walcott.
Both England players' careers stuttered at the Emirates, while Walcott has looked revitalised in the north-west.
The Toffees are ready to make "a lucrative move" for Wilshere if his situation at Arsenal is not resolved.
Everton "will offer a big signing-on bonus and a deal in excess of the £80,000-per-week the Gunners are offering," the Daily Mail report adds.
